hello fellow anime lovers.
I'm Jeremy, a tattoo artist from Harlem New York working out of Orlando Florida. this will be my first tattoo convention i my 12 year tattoo career. as a kid I've always love animation and then one day at the young age of 8, i was introduced to the very first anime movie I'd ever seen, Akira. after that day i was hooked. from that day forth i strived to see more... more to quench the hunger my heart and soul with this new style of art and story telling that i just needed to have in my life. now it was the 80s early 90s and anime was limited. Finding other like me to ho and the quest of finding and sharing V.H.S. tapes swapping and trading, finding them where ever we could find them...
as a young man that grew up loving drawing and painting i always used both anime and comic books as a reference to build my style. copying artist from both worlds to create characters and stories. so much so that i later on went to college to become an animator. in this time i was introduced to tattooing. now i already had a love for the artform, got my first tattoo at a very young age, 15. but to truly understand the art form was when i fell in love with it. so unprofessionally, i did what some of us do.... tattoo the homies... and soon after the opportunity came, to learn and apprentice under a professional tattoo artist and so here i am getting to do what i love to do.. create art, helping you the client express yourself through art.
