Michael Evangelista is a New York based tattooer and illustrator from The Bronx, and a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology. He has apprenticed at a tattoo studio in Brooklyn while he pursued his BFA in Illustration at the same time. His style is heavily influenced by traditional tattooing and the stories and themes from manga and comics. He currently tattoos in Brooklyn.

Manga and anime was his first artistic inspiration and it will always be a source of inspiration for the rest of his life. His tattooing brings imagery from manga, video games and media he enjoys while implementing the timeless fundamental concepts of traditional tattooing.
